I made my small dead blow from a 22 22 15 unequal copper tee with threaded brass inserts for nylon and Alu threaded inserts with some old scrap 177 pellets in the gap. Handle on the 15 part of the tee. |

I believe injection moulding machines use cartridge heaters in their moulds, that might be a place to start looking. |

Looks like they could be specials, I converted them to 3/16 x 32, 9/64 x 26 and 7/64 x 20. |

Really surprised that you failed with your soldering as EF flux should have coped with that and I remove that flux in boiling water. If you use HT5 flux CUP Alloys recommend a 10% caustic soda solution |

Carborundum is the paste to use as it does not bed into the valves or seats, I think I would be worried that diamond would do the opposite as its virtually indestructable. |

No I don't think so Michael its just that why would you want/need a cutting frame when you have the whole machine. I thought (correct me if I'm wrong (usually) ) but isn't a cutter frame used when a wheel cutting engine is not available and wheels are then cut with a lathe and overhead drive? |
