So impressed with your skills i would never ever be able to Tackle such a lovely Engine.

Such lovely detail and finish looks Brilliant well done Julian shows the years you have been doing it.

Was you by any chance a toolmaker before

it isnt my loco but stan pearson's excellent 5"g 9F! stan has made quite a bit more progress since the above pic.

I moved this to 'live steam locomotives' from '3D printing'.

If Stan did make this loco on a Reprap, let me know and I'll move the thread back again.

It might help if that wasn't the default topic in the "Start New Discussion" pane.

If 3d printing wasn't the default, something else equally inappropriate for most posts would be. Unless we called it "posts about anything people forget to choose a category for".

Many drop-down lists [elsewhere] require that the user makes a specific choice, before proceeding.

i.e. Their default is "[select]" ...
