I suggest you direct your query at David Clark 1, the editor as he seems to be quite adept at sorting out these issues

Hi Steve

Forget the leading zeros and enter the 8 digit number. That should clear the problem.

It does clearly state ignore the leading zeros or words to that effect on the web page.

Hi David,>>

Thanks for replying.>>

I followed the instructions from an email received from My Hobby Store titles 'Your latest Digital Issue has arrived' Using a PC this directed me to log in - go to My Account - Digital Issues.> This came up with a 'subscriber only content warning. So went to 'My Details' to enter Subscriber No. The instructions here clearly state 'enter 10 digit number and explain where this can be obtained. No mention I can find about deleting zeros.>

Anyway the system now seems to be working thanks.

Regards,

Steve T

They seem to have upgraded the subscription number to 10 digits.

Hi John

Do you have a reasonably fast broadband?
Have you tried more than one issue?

I am in Canada, and recently renewed my subscription to MEW. Previously I accessed the

digital issues without problem, but I was no longer able to do so.

The Canadian subscription company, ExpressMag, told me they had nothing to do with the

MEW website and to contact you.

They confirmed I had a renewed subscription. They assign a new "client no." with each

renewal. I entered this new (7 digit) number into my MEW profile. No luck..

I then entered the10 digit number which is on the MEW envelope. (This includes the 7 digit number within it). Still no luck.

ExpressMag sent an email to MyHobbyShop to say I was paid up and gave the 7 digit #.

What's up?

I have the same problem.

Only last 8 digits retained.

Many tries.

What's next ?

Me too (USA, if that is relevant). I had no problem entering the sub number on Nov 9th when I subscribed, though it stripped the two leading zeros. It was working fine since then until about 2 hours ago. I initially used my PC, but switched to a new tablet last night. I tried just now to access from my PC, got the "Subscriber only content" message. I tried re-entering the sub number, again it strips the zeros and seems happy, but it did not help. I now cannot access from either PC or tablet. I'm thinking a website glitch (hopefully temporary). or something to do with switching between PC and tablet?

Hi There

Are all the problems with USA and Canada?

I don't think Express magazines update us with renewals.

I have complained many times about this but get nowhere.

David-

The three of us posting to this thread are fom Canada and the U.S.

ExpressMag did email MyHobbyShope with the information that I had resubscribed, and giving their subscription number for the renewal. But I have had no reply from MyHobbyShop about this; I even sent MyHobbyShop a copy of the email. So that explanation does not seem acceptable to me.

If they are not providing a service they have contracted to provide to yoou, your advertising should reflect that, IMO, or better yet you might look for a a distributor who will do the job you want done. Easier said than done, I am sure.

I again contacted ExpressMag today (Nov 30). Their rep emailed MyHobbyShop again with my subscriber number, confirming I have a 2 year MEW subscription.

What else is required for me to gain access?

Grant
