Given that it's the foundry that will likely be the new owner, it was explained that they are not ordering up newly poured castings in an effort to keep the sale price reasonable.

So yes they are selling off what they have but it is most probable that anything out of stock will be available again within a few months time.

The company is being sold and the deal will likely be done in a few more weeks. If all goes well, Stuart will be moved back to the UK mainland and it's new owner will be the foundry that has been pouring castings for them

Prices for Big bore lathes have dropped from 300 + to about £160..
Oil gun is imported from switzerland, not cheap, but doesnt leaks.
Tapping chuck from Vertex is ok for price and a good item.
 
We'll have to look forward.

Myford will offer new lathes (built in UK) in 2012.
They also offer again regrind service for used lathes.
