6 forum posts 2 photos | Hello to all forum members. I am new to this forum but not new to the use of machine tools. I have an Emco V11 with a milling attachment and recently purchased an FB2 that needs a lot of work to be back to working order. I have to machine new lead screws nuts and gibs as also a major paint job. Can any one help with an FB2 parts list? I need to see how some things come together correctly. Thanks in advance John from Greece

6 forum posts 2 photos | Hello David Thank you for the welcome. Should i post my questions on the "Manual machine tools" Topic? The previous owner of the FB2 somehow replaced the Y axis trapezoidal screw with a square thread screw. Not the best choice i believe. I have somehow to figure out if i can trust the overal dimensions of this screw to fabricate a trapezoidal one (total length?) Thanks John |

![]() 2110 forum posts 565 photos | Hi again. My lathe has a square thread for all axis traverse, cross slide and compound slide. No problems with my lathe accuracy so personally I would just keep it as us as long as there is no excessive play. Made in about 1950 a Myford. David |
