Hello from Wyoming (USA)

Hello;

I am a retired machinist of almost 50 years, I love machining, being a machinist is like playing all day. Now being retired I get to machine what I want to, instead of someone telling what I need to machine.

I mainly machine and assemble model stationary steam/air engines but am up for any project. I have my engines posted on my YouTube channel "Shane's Machine Shop" if anyone is interested.

I have a Micro Lathe II and bench top mill that work fairly well for me.

I am getting ready to start on my next project, a "Dake" style steam engine. Can't wait to get started on it.!!!

Welcome to the forum from Australia. I lived in western Montana for 10 years but never made it to Wyoming, right next door! It's on my bucket list for next time I get over there. I married a girl from Havre MT, so tended to go north rather than south on road trips. Plenty of workshop time over there in the winters for sure.
