226 forum posts 17 photos | Any other U.S. subscribers here? I subscribed a month ago and am still waiting for the first issue to arrive. Have you got your Dec (310) issue of MEW? I was a subscriber some years ago and don't remember if getting the mag in the U.S. was a problem. And the only bookstore that I've ever seen carry MEW hasn't had it since at least the start of the pandemic. (I've ordered books from the UK that never took this long.) |

344 forum posts 17 photos | I am in Canada, not the US, but I guess that shipping times are probably similar. Since the pandemic International postage times have been completely random,. Occasionally magazines will arrive within days of posting other times it takes 6 to 8 weeks, and every now and again a later issue will arrive first e.g I received 308 two weeks after 309. You might also want to check that your subscription starts with 310 and not 311. Clive |

181 forum posts 7 photos | Mike, I subscribed to the 'Model Engineers' Workshop' Digital and Hard copy editions for the first time about two (maybe three) weeks ago. The first hard copy I received (Jan 2022) fell through my letterbox about 6 days ago. I live in Scotland which shares the same postal system as England (where I believe the magazine is printed and distributed from). I imagine your copy may take a few days yet to get to you. Hopefully you get it in time for New Year, if not Xmas. Ches. |

They say it is due to illness obviously management can't or will not take precautions within the sorting office with their staff. One letter I had came from the other side of town and took 2 weeks to reach me less than 5 miles away. |

11 forum posts | Is anyone else in Australia having delivery problems? I reinstated my lapsed MEW subscription on 21 September (to commence with 309) and took out an ME subscription on 14 October. Nothing delivered so far. I appreciated that Australia Post's performance has been mediocre of late but I continue to receive another UK sourced magazine regularly two weeks after publication date. Similarly, MEW back issues I've ordered in the interim have arrived within three weeks. Is the problem with bulk postage arrangement through a third country? Enquires through the prescribed channels have failed to produce a response - is there anyone out there? My only hope seems to be to have bleat on this forum and hope that one of the respective editors may see it and respond.

![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | Hi Folks, I missed this as I wasn't visiting the forum very often while on Christmas and New year holidays. Subscriptions start with the next issue after you take out a subscription, so a subscription taken out in mid to late November would start with issue 311, January, for example, as this is after issue 310 was distributed. Issue 311 was arrived with subscribers in the UK around the week before Christmas, so I would expect it to be arriving in the US/Australia a week or two after that. I'm afraid I don't have knowledge of exact distribution date for overseas subscribers. If you are concerned your copies haven't arrived please see THIS LINK which includes contact details for overseas subscriptions. If they are not able to solve your problem, let me know and I will look into it, but please try customer services first as it's usually a lot quicker for you and I can't do more than pass on queries. Thanks for your patience. Neil

226 forum posts 17 photos | Issue 310 arrived today. Yippee! I think this was the resent issue after contacting customer service, since it arrived in a brown padded envelope. I'm not sure what that'll mean for issue 311 if that was already sent to UK subs before Xmas. At least I now have some good lunchtime reading material. |
