Where did you spot it, and is there any other related stuff there please?
I do have a manual for mine, so I'm OK there.
I've also tried emailing the chap at Bedroom Workshop to no avail.
In this case I had some literature of my own that I was offering to send him.

fdocumemts.net. never used it before. It tries to get you to click all sorts of adverts so look carefully before clicking anything that says download.

Glad you're sorted and this has nothing to do with your quest for a manual, but I have also tried twice, unsuccessfully, to contact the bedroom workshop site regarding my Perfecto shaper via the supplied email address [email protected]. It occurs to me that Microsoft seem to have absorbed hotmail into their global empire and maybe an email should now be sent to (name)@outlook.com and the site hasn't been updated to reflect that? I might try that later. However, I would have thought that messages to hotmail.com addresses would have been automatically redirected to outlook.com. Not so, apparently.

I also tried to email the fellow at Bedroom Etc 18 months ago, got no reply. It's a pity as it is a good site he;s put a lot of work into. Ah well, Noel.

One used to be able to download manuals etc from there, but unfortunately, someone did, and then started selling them and listing on ebay, hence the author blocked downloads.
In theory, one could register with him, but it doesn't seem to work.

The Last Update on the site was 30th August 2020, but I'd tried contacting him prior to that, when the site was receiving regular updates.

The same author appears on HomemadeTools.net
https://www.homemadetools.net/builder/Steven+Vine-2

It looks like the site is likely to be around for at least a couple of years.
From Who.is domain mane registration; but no contact details available.

If anyone really wants to, there is a contact form to the registrant, available on one of the other DNS look-up sites, but I'll not link to it here.

Hi

I've been trying to restore a Clarkson cutter grinder that I've been given plus the imperia grinder, would anyone know the length of the flat belt for Clarkson grinder mk1 (March grinder) I have a Manuel but can not see the information? I tried searching the interweb but come up with nothing too?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

George

Hi George

I am rebuilding a mk 1 (very slowly I'm afraid). The flat belt I bought for it is a H1120-25. This is 1120mm long and 25mm wide The H signifies 1mm thick. Mine is an ''Optimax'' made by Optibelt GmbH in ''The Fatherland''

HTH

Dave

BTW other lengths are available, can you check your machine by looping a measuring tape around the pullies?

Hi Dave,

That's fantastic, thank you so much for the quick response just what I needed, my new challenge after this is to make the 3 phase motor run on single phase with a capacitor, hopefully save me buying new 3 phase converter again,

Many thanks again

George

I once made a belt in a pinch by grinding all of the ribs from poly-vee belt. I do believe that it is still fitted and working on that particular Mk1.
