An odd name to use i know but I have seen one but do not know the name of it.

This is something kids might use or a party piece.

It is drum, with somthing to use to tap the drume which is held vertical. this then sends a 'Punch' of air and a pop sound.

I want to drive off pesky Pigeons, does anyone know what it is called and where I can get one. Sorry, no pic of it.

12g shotgun?🙂  Much better.  Doesn’t drive them off but should not come back (if aimed properly).

Thank you lads, just what I wanted.

Not Done It yet. Built up area, I have an airgun but these Pigeons are feeding young squabs.

Pigeon breast are very good at deflecting pellets. Your aim needs to be very accurate and in the right place.

How about getting a friendly (to you ) Sparrowhawk, or a Kestrel?

Shot a few Pigeons but they taste like cardboard to me. Prefer Pheasants or Partridge.I also like Guinea Fowl.Pigeon breasts best marinaded. Friend shoots Foxes and he takes them to the Chinese and they eat them, nice dog they say!

I am locked in by houses so no firearms but I can shoot within the garden with the airgun. Biggest problem is the Squirrels chewing every basket they get on. High squirrel count and rising.

Next door wants the Pigeons live, halal. I am not going to trap them.

Will be looking at hawkins Bazaar now.

Clive Hartland your comments are racist. This is not the place for such remarks. Nowhere is.

Norman,

Your feelings may well be honourable … but the truth is that Dog is on the menu in the far East.

[ our son is currently living in Laos ]

So please ask yourself whether Clive was being racist, or simply stating a fact.
