13 forum posts | Hi All, Does anyone know how to open magazines in the digital archive now that Adobe has finally dragged Flash Player. When I select an issue I get the message saying I need to update my version of Flash Player, When I press "Get Flash Player" nothing happens - I guess because Flash Player is no longer available. I know the ME/MEW team is working on the problem but does anyone know of a workaround in the meantime. Joe Harland, Melbourne, Australia |

92 forum posts 12 photos | The conversion of the archived MEW issues seems to be dragging on. I tried to view issue 117 the other day but could only go back to 220. Don't know why I paid for digital issues! Alan |

92 forum posts 12 photos | The oldest accessible issue in the digital archive seems to be hung-up at 180, where it was before Christmas. When are we going to be able to see all issues? |

. Strange, isn’t it … that the problem originates with Adobe Flash Player [which Steve Jobs refused to allow on the iPad], and yet an Apple device can open the files. Does anyone here understand how this works ? MichaelG. |

92 forum posts 12 photos | There seems to be some reluctance to answer the question. When can we expect all MEW issues in the digital archive to be viewable on PC? The last info was from JasonB that the target was the end of the year (last year, that is). |

11 forum posts 1 photos | To add to this with a more fundamental issue. The last digital MEW available is Feb. We are now up to June. While I am looking forward to the binge read it would be nice to have access to the recent mags my sub has paid for. regards - James. |

322 forum posts | Hi Jason I sent an email to Pocket Mags as you suggested and Pocket Mags replied ...... "Archives are managed by the publishers and this is something made available on their own websites. Unfortunately, we do not have access to their systems and hence we are unable to help with your query. We recommend that you please contact the publishers directly regarding this and they would be able to assist you further. Their contact details can be found inside the magazine or on their official websites" All I can add to this and recommend is, that as soon as anyone takes out a digital subscription then activate it in Pocket Mags, otherwise if you delay then you cannot access those older copies ...Obviously you may be able to see them on this Model Eng website.... My digital subscription started started at the end of last year, I only created a Pocket Mags account in March 2022 and cannot see Jan/Feb digital copies. Anyway, onwards and upwards.... Regards

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | What did you ask Pocketmags for? They won't give you archive access as they have said but they can backdate a subscription. See this thread from a couple of weeks ago where I advised Redpiperbob to do the same and he was able to get the mags added |
