Where to buy Stuart?

136 forum posts | I’ve got a Stuart 10v on order with Maidstone supplies it’s been since the 26th of Dec. Is this par for the course with these kits? Or have I chosen badly with my supplier? |

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | With the post office having so many delays it's more likely that is the cause of the delay, read today some areas have not had a postal delivery for 28days. Don't know what their Xmas holidays were but a lot of businesses closed up and only opened on the 4th so may not have been dealt with until then. As MG says I generally get my Stuart stuff direct from them. |

![]() 1605 forum posts 83 photos | Nick In normal times I believe a supplier has 28 days to fulfill an order. I ordered two castings from Stuarts a few months ago and they took a long time to arrive. I still consider them good suppliers. It is just the times we are living through. JA Like a lot of similar firms Stuarts may be very busy at present. Some firms are doing well supplying anything (craft, models, motorcycle restoration parts, etc) that will keep people occupied. 1585 forum posts 1 photos | Nick, Maidstone Engineering have been around for many years but there was a change owners. They used to have a stand at the defunct Brighton Modelworld Exhibition. They should be OK to do business with. Latest national news is that Post Office is in trouble with so many staff of sick that they can't deliver Mail as quickly as usual. "Snail Mail" is a very unkind and generally unjustifiable nickname. John
