Stirling Builder

![]() 25 forum posts 24 photos | Hi All, I started building things late in life and I cannot justify investing much in equipment or facilities. I do have a smaller than average man cave and a selection of somewhat blunt hand tools. I will put up a couple of videos of bits that I have made. https://youtu.be/RJ4R7CUNRCs https://youtu.be/t2NVVwjVn-c They are still works in progress and I am enjoying tinkering with them. They are both made with recycled bits and pieces that cost next to nothing and no investment in machinary . I was wondering if there were any other Stirling builders around?

![]() 2312 forum posts 112 photos | Hello Brian (that's a GOOD name) and welcome. It really doesn't matter if you have a workshop full of the latest equipment or if your workshop is the kitchen table, all are welcome. I'm afraid that I cannot help with the Stirling engines but there are some on here who should be along soon and be able to help. Brian |

754 forum posts 2 photos | Hello Brian, Welcome to the forum.. I'm building a Hot Air Engine that I first built at secondary school in 1972. It's nearing completion (pending arrival of a replacement lathe), so I'll post some pictures when it's finished. |

798 forum posts 27 photos | Brian, Wow, well done. What I know about Stirling Engines wouldn't fill a very small postage stamp but that looks pretty impressive to me given your description of facilities and material source. Great effort, it matters not what facilities you have but what you can do with them! Paul. |
