The editor uses a great deal of discretion! A significant proportion of readers filling in paper forms get creative with ways to exceed the word limit, so I might as well let emailers have some flexibility (after all I don't have to retype their contributions... which also means fewer typos and mis-read phone numbers) Neil |

Serious question, Neil : What should we do do instead of ticking the ‘preference boxes’ ? I have an advert on the forum Sales which [having had zero interest] I may wish to repeat in print. MichaelG. Serious question, Neil : What should we do do instead of ticking the ‘preference boxes’ ? I assume you will already have set your preferences in your forum profile. So for sending me classifieds they are superfluous. MTM may check paper slips for marketing preferences when they pass through, but that's up to them. Neil |

What's the cut off date Neil? I'd like to separate the sections of my 10" shaper so that I can indicate what maximum weight the parts are for the aid of any potential victim/buyer Err... in an hour or so ish? Just put 'call for details of weights etc.' in the ad. But I'd hope anyone buying a 10" shaper would realise it's not one handed lift or second class post... Neil |
