If you go to lathes.co.uk you will see information on many machines, but look at the page on Rolls Royce precision lathes.

I think you may find it to your taste!

.

It did indeed ... but unfortunately "New Year's Resolution" jobs took precedence, and I forgot to say so blush

No warning on the iPad ... althought the page did take a long time to load on the first visit

[so perhaps they were all climbing aboard]

IMPORTANT EDIT : I have just checked with Sucuri

https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/https/www.imgrum.pw/tag/uhrmacherwekzeug

... but the risk "only" appears to be advert serving ... so more a problem for the site owner than ourselves [?]

Joe, Many thanks for the very interesting link.

Emgee, I had a screen appear that suggested itself to be a windows security alert, warning me of a virus attack(3of them) and listing them, with the information that my operating system was in melt down. Action was advised to immediately use a scan (free of charge) by downloading from the page.

Ran windows security scan and Malwarebytes both gave clear result. The initial screen was quite convincing, take care.

Paul..

I think this "home made" lathe takes some beating, both beautiful and scarily accurate!
