When i returned from holiday yesterday I found this tool ( and two similar ones) on my doorstep. Can anyone tell me what they are used for.

![]() 6956 forum posts 229 photos | As the attachment looks like the back of an instrument or clock I suggest it was just that and it held the front plate for some machining operation, possibly modifying a small batch outside of the main production. |
