Did engineering from leaving school till 21 could not wait to get out! now I can not wait to get on the lathe!

Interested in making duplicating machine to carve wood....any help with this would be great.

I do some parts for air rifles and have managed to sell a few bits to pay for more tooling.

I have 45 ft ( note the proper measurement !! ) container full of stuff.

Welcome David I'm sure you will enjoy this very active forum, do take care with making air rifle parts -- make sure none are to increase the power beyond the legal limit of 12ft/lbs of energy.

Cheers John

David ... there is, or was, a Model Engineering society in Hull who are not too far away, they may be able to help.

Funnily enough, I was only looking at a duplicating machine the other day **LINK**

Shouldn't be beyond the capabilities of most of us to construct something similar for less than they are asking.

Regards,

Rob

Thanks John

Most of the parts I are are for holding...barrel clamps and rails for scopes and some internal parts for triggers and cocking aids.

Non are made or could be modified to up the power above the legal limit.

Nice to know that some one picked up on my thread!

I will be building a .25 airgun that will be capable of over 150 ft/lbs but this is on my FAC so within the law.
