Hello all,

I have been trying to contact the above company for three weeks now regarding an order I have with them for a boiler.

I have tried landline, mobile and left message and sent an Email all with no response.

Does anyone have any information as to wether they are still trading, illness,or holidays??

Any info would be much appreciated

Thanks

Bob Thompson

hi again

Thanks for taking the trouble to view folks. I am still no nearer to making contact of any kind so I will have to write and cancel the order and find an alternative and hope i can somehow recover my deposit.

Thank you all for your time

Bob

Robert, if you put "Cheddar Valley Steam" into the search box on the home page you will see that you are not alone in having difficulty contacting them.

I thought they might have been at Doncaster but alas no. Good luck in trying to contact them.

I have been there with Brunel.

Thanks Brian and Jason it certainly doesnt look good at the moment. I have tried every method of contact to no avail. One would have thought that if Tim was ill someone may have at least answered the phone or put a note on the website. There is another number on the website but that is also not working. I have spoken to him this year but not recently.

Once again thanks for your trouble

Well after another day of failed attempts to contact Tim I have reluctantly cancelled my order with Cheddar Valley Steam and placed an order with another supplier.

I have E mailed CVS and requested my deposit be returned but quite honestly dont hold old much hope

You have my heart felt sympathies. So frustrating and annoying. I would never treat a customer like that.

Bob,

If you get no joy from your email requesting your deposit back, I would write to them (By recorded/Signed for).

How did you pay your deposit? (Cheque or Credit/Debit Card etc.)

Forest Classics list bespoke boilers which links to Cheddar Valley Steam, maybe they can shed some light on the status of Cheddar Valley. Link

Has the worst happened and Cheddar Valley Steam ceased trading? Looking like my deposit may have gone AWOL. Anyone with any news. Here's hoping.

I have been informed by another member that Tim stopped trading several months ago.

Good evening gentleman.

I gave up on my deposit many months ago when the man refused to answer any form of correspondence even though I had proof of his signature from Royal Mail.

I'm afraid the man is an irritating waste of space and the hobby will be better without him.

Just as an update to what I now know, ,I have spoken to the owner of Forrest Classics this morning who has said to the best of his knowledge Tim ceased trading around Nov 2017.He has also tried ,without success to contact Tim.

.

I suggest it might be appropriate for 'Forest Classics' to remove this page from the website:

Why not ask for information from anyone who has had your problem and resolved it successfully.
And how did they do it.
