![]() 1129 forum posts 1 photos | Hi Tony, This shop has gone. All inventory was sold off to one guy who has now dispersed it throughout the south west area. I bought a huge amount of it from him but that has now also gone. I did see last weekend a tray of about 25 or so R8 taper tooling items from that lot that were mint when I tried to buy them some while ago but have now been lying in 3" of water in an old metal tray and are actually rusted together! Funny how people would rather have nothing than something! The owner tried hard to sell it as a going concern but without his contacts for restocking there would have been nothing to sell within a year or so. A lot of what he had was not exactly fast moving stock at the prices asked. A real shame in many ways as one could often find rarer items ther when asked for them specifically. Cheers, Martin |

![]() 1605 forum posts 83 photos | I bought a very good vernier height gauge from Tool Box. Looking at it when I got back home I found a "works stamp" etched into it from the place I worked. During my working life with the company I never managed to find out how, as an employee, one could buy surplus tools etc. JA |
