630 forum posts 12 photos | When I lived in Africa these guy's were at the side of the road under a tree.......order what you want in the morning and collect in the afternoon........ I ordered a large Rhino to be carved, no English spoken but a few scruffy photo's......went back early afternoon with some drinks (soft) for the guys and watched them finish and polish the beast........Absolutley superb, I noticed the bit of the log that was left had room for another......very tempted...... Clogs

Times have changed- Once you could just shoot one & have it shipped home Bit of shortage now - I blame the poachers

![]() 1613 forum posts 72 photos | Great link thanks, some years back I saw a similar bit of video but taken in India a one legged man rode into a village sat on the front porch of a wooden shack and tow 'craftsmen' made him a articulate leg out of sheet metal he then rode off using both of the bike peddles! H |
