Just a thought, but it seems a long time since we heard from Brian Johns. I hope he's still OK. He posted fairly regularly a few weeks back

I've wondered too. Some good posts and some nice work on a machine that some might find tough to use.

Better to send a pm in these situations, perhaps? Someone else might then respond, if there is a problem...

If he is not visiting teh site and does not have things set for notification he may not see a PM.

Unfortunately we don't get to see when a member last visited the site as you can on other forums.

I was thinking the same thing the other day that he had not posted for a while so have just sent him an e-mail, will keep you posted of any reply

Perhaps he's battened down for the cyclone season, or at least finding somewhere to cool off. Hopper might come on and let us know what the weather is doing  up Northern Queensland.

I have heard back from Brian, he is alive and well and awaiting delivery of an Optimum branded vertical slide which is due in January. Until that arrives he is held up and not able to make more progress on his current engine.
