Whilst your arguments are complex your ideas are more imaginary than real!

That's ab-surd!

Now then Tony this thread has drifted so far into the imaginary with all this hyperbole that the original arguement is lost and its functions are now truely all hyperbolics!

Oh dear Oh dear!!!

My wife has just looked at this thread and says that it all seems to have gone full circle. Who am I to argue - best get on with some useful domestic chore I guess!

I left my expensive Starrett calipers in a damp shed and they died, since then i'm using the Chinese ones there is no difference in the reading but, they are rough as a goats knee, maybe you could stone them to slide smoothly i don't have the inclination to find out.

I had a Victorionox £70 multi tool which i dropped in the canal, it was non magnetic stainless steel, i nearly cried, now i'm using a toy Chinese one of these too.

I have a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife which I've had for about 30 years. The spring in the scissors broke so I emailed them to see if they would sell a new spring. They told me to send it back to Switzerland for repair, free of charge, as they are guaranteed for life. Will you get that service from China?

Russell.
