Reading glasses for workshop use...

Maybe that's just my age showing. Failing those, I do regard my 14lb sledge as a stress relief toy, and my graduated adjustable spanner vernier calliper is used for everything under 6" long. Got it from Screwfix when they only sold mechanical ones and it's as good now as it was when I bought it. Never have to change a battery either.

Certainly an eye loop. Several are good as they bounce and roll a suprising way when you drop them !

Lever test indicator for truing up in the 4 jaw is invaluable as well.

Any ideas on how I can modify / update mine? Actually not too difficult a job for mine, but I still wonder how much the job will cost! First operation, presumably, is to get a good credit account at the florist, then the perfumier.

Every time that my lathe has been out of commission (changing shops and so on) I have felt very vulnerable.
