I was surprised that no-one was pleading Terry Aspin's case.

.

Wouldn't dream of it ... I didn't much like 'Chuck' the first time round.

Don't listen to the GOGs. Chuck was usually spot on. He also made some interesting engines and his casting books are first class. Definitely worth repeating the cartoons to a new generation and in a different magazine.

Cheers,

Rod (another GOG, but not today - I'm on holiday 😂 )

I just thought the parting cartoon was apt given some recent postings and that it still hit the mark.

Note that the 'Hero' has a Super Adept (as did Terry Aspin himself).

OK I have to ask. What's a GOG? Surely not "Girl on Girl" or the "Gynecolgic Oncology Group".

Cheers,

Dave

Must be those who think that they are a "Gift Of God" (any of any religion). I do know that Rod's Worden ER holder works wonders!

And there was I thinking that to be a moderator, let alone site editor one had to have integrity and intelligence.

Shows just how easy it is t be fooled.

As my mate Ted in the model-shop used to say: "There's yer Londoners North of the river and there's yer Londoners South of the river. Then there's yer foreigners."

You lot misunderstand... 'Gog' is short for gogleddwr - northerner - in my home tongue.

If you want to send donations, the fees for any article of mine that gets published, are sent direct by MTM to Cancer Research UK, Parkinsons UK, (because I have lost friends to these) or to Alzheimers Socy (because it is likely that I shall soon need their help).

The only people who are not happy are the Accounts Dept, because the destination bank account gets changed!

At least, Neil doesn't hail from Llanfair PG!
