I use www.pocketmags.com you store the mag on your computer and you can access online its cheaper to also the print quality is excellent.

a bit tricky to find the MEW and ME they are in the DIY section strangely

Hello, thanks for the reply.

would that mean I would need to cancel my ME & MEW subscription and re subscribe via pocket mags?

No you can use pocket mags with your existing subscription. You need to register on pocket mags to be able to view your subs online and then again with their off line viewer.

Once signed up with Pocket mags you will get an e-mail when the next mag is available to view.

There is a tutorial somewhere, I'll dig it out a bit later.

I think the tutorial Jason is referring to are HERE

They are accessed via the archive link so I'll see if I can get a more obvious link sorted out.

Hello,

I have been trying to download my digital subscription onto my Mac book and I am unable to do so. I have been in touch with Pocket Mags and they say that it is not available for Mac computers,if that is so why not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve.

It would be a bit weird if you can't download their title 'Mac World' on a Mac...

They do claim  "Pocketmags.com is your digital magazine newsstand, delivering magazines and newspapers to PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android"

So you should be able to. I will see if I can find out for you.

There is no app listed for Apple Mac, so I assume that they are correct.

You should be able to use the on-line reader OK as that is web-based. (I know this means you can't read your mag's off-line)

Still waiting for a definitive response Steven, but the interim one is simply that the app is aimed at mobile users and they don't have enough demand from desktop users to justify the investment in a special app as these users are normally happy use the online reader.

I'll let you know if I get any more information.

Neil, I dont think that reply flies - I'm pretty sure that when I had this problem I found they had an app for PC users, but not for my mac.

The solution was to cancel my digital subscription.....

cheers, Colin
