The Allen Scythe could be a right B*****d they did have a habit of digging in on uneven ground. My Grandfather broke his leg with one that dug in. Health and safety would go ballistic at one nowadays but still a great tool for clearing a rough area of undergrowth. John |

Thread: Coronavirus - How To Register as Vulnerable |
11/04/2020 10:44:25 |
I could not contact Tesco either. I have had deliveries from them for over 5 years and am on the gov vulnerable list. My daughter managed to contact them on Twitter gave them my details and 2 days later got an email from Tesco offering me priority slots. I also am registered with Asda and yesterday got an email from them offering priority slots and the option to book a regular weekly/ fortnightly slot in advance. I have booked a regular slot with Asda as it saves having to keep looking for vacant slots. If you use twitter or have someone who has give Tesco a Twit???? if you are already a customer and on vulnerable list. John |

Good evening Tony many thanks for the links, but when I go to them I have to register and the first thing they want is access to my contacts..... No Way... I searched google and think that I have found the same frames stacked up. The files show you can print 2, 5, 10, items on top of each other. I have tried slicing a couple of the files with Cura using my machine settings (slow) and 5 frames in 5 hours 10 frames in 11 hours. I will try printing 5 out tomorrow and see what I get...If the stl. file works I will try to upload a non invasive link. John |

Top marks Tony, is it possible to put a link to your faceshield file on the forum or have I missed it? I have looked at the one on another thread but my printer is not big enough to get it on. Many thanks John |

Ah well , as JC54 says, there are the other halves of all those projects... +++
I've been pondering the likely effect on our valued suppliers. They of course have to consider closing to protect the health of their own staff, but if their wholesalers can still operate, being mainly mail-order retailers in a specialist trade they may be all right. Let us all hope so, for their sake as well as ours! +++ As another thought if we are getting on with all those projects, are we going to see hoarding of materials?

At Melton Mowbray and District Model Engineering Society we have decided to cancel any meetings until further notice. The Boiler testing will proceed this Saturday. Work parties on the track extension is left to the choice of each individual. I decision on the June Gala will be made at a later date. If this self isolation comes in at least it will give us an excuse to finish all of those projects that are half done |
