If you're not in a rush have a look at BangGood for collets and chucks. I've been pleased with mine. |

If you don't mind draining the boiler then get a new thermostat pocket as well as the thermostat. Unscrew the pocket, throw it away and fit the new one. |

A quick and short answer is NO. Certainly not in the average shed. Some general examples of the methods and problems given here.... **LINK** |

In that case can I recommend LG inverter machines. They're not cheap but was told about them by a friend who runs his own white goods repair business. He has installed them in old peoples homes where heavy use is likely and, to date he hasn't had any breakdown calls to them. The wife is very happy with ours, and that's the important part. |

Good news, just make sure that there is a spare 13amp switched socket outlet for the tea kettle. |

Just a thought, your feed and expansion tank needs to be metal. A plastic tank with boiling water and steam flowing through it can soon collapse; you then gave a very hot shower flowing down through your ceilings/floors. |

Thank you Harold. |

If by turbotorch you mean the mini twin bottle kit then I have used that type when working on refrigeration pipework repairs. They do a good job but the burn time is dependent on the size of the oxygen bottle in use. A small bottle would give me around 15 minutes, now you need to work out how expensive to run these units are. A good MAPP gas torch can do most things and with a twin burner head you can cook most things. |

Slight problem for me on that one, no air compressor - damn. |

Came across this website which may be useful. I have used small bore plastics/nylons up to 30 bar with olive/compression fittings in days gone by. |

Every time this subject comes up, we see the same hyperlink. The problem being that this is for American (imperial) nomenclature. For metric ISO nomenclature which has different numbers after the letters, you need to look elsewhere such as Korloy, Sandvik, Iskra etc. Sorry - busy right now but perhaps someone can post a link? Probably something like this. See page 16. Murray Edited By Muzzer on 14/09/2017 12:37:44 Not knowing whereabouts in the world the original poster resides makes being always right a little difficult. |

Can't help wondering about the cause of your motor failures, reading back through some of your posts it appears that your lathe motor had some problems too. It might be worthwhile taking the failed motor to a rewind company and ask for a post mortem report on it. Do you have stable power supply to your workshop? |
Thread: Links to Gumtree tools |

Okay, thanks, Â I fully understand which is why I asked the question. Shame I can't get it down my garden otherwise I might have to start sweet talking her indoors. |

Is it allowed to post a link to an advert on the Gumtree site which is nothing to do with me? I've just spotted an ML7 for sale which may be of interest to someone here. |

The centre pip is because your tool is not on the centre line, takes practice but you'll get there. |
