hi Mike i cut 19 tpi on my boxford

you need 20 t stud gear

80 t idler and 38 t on the screw

then select 28tpi on the gearbox

worked ok for me

Sean don't think it matters 3/4 or 1 hp its the rpm mine has a 930 rpm 3/4 hp motor and i think its the original motor

Alan is it not BSF 1.5 inch 8 tpi same as a boxford spindle nose UNC would normally be 1 inch 8 tpi

i think the pipe your looking for is called protecta line its used in contaminated ground

hi Steve according to MSCs catalogue red is for high tensile materials yellow is general purpose and blue is for stainless and tool steels hope this helps

hi Mike if your radiators are old it could be rust particles going round the system maybe small ones getting past the mag filter a magnet used to stick on the copper pipes on my system before we renewed it due to the rust particles in the water

hi David

on my 10 m the vee belt is an old Dawson speedona i can just make out size B 38 code T on the label measuring with callipers its a little over 16mm width probably swollen with age and oil.

the small pulley is cast iron approx 50mm thick and vee ways measure approx 117mm large and 92 small at the largest diameter hope this is of help
