I to would have suggested EKP and depending on sizes etc Polly Models, as for E.C.Pitcher who are 2 mins from me are closed at the moment and would say it will be Monday before Simon opens ! Pitcher's do not do ME fasteners but do carry BSW and BSF sizes. H |

Seen this scenario before on another well know forum some members didn't have a problem others did then one day the server crashed and everyone was offline for quite a while !!! |

Are you sure its single phase? The connections appear as to how to run a three phase motor on single phase. Hi Hamish yes it is single phase and thanks to all who responded I have it sorted now . As far as the terminal marking it looks like to save money they are using the same terminal plate for both three phase and single phase motors.

The photo are the connections for a single phase motor from Machine Mart my question is as anyone connected a reversing switch to a motor with this terminal arrangement ? I understand the old A1-2 Z1-2 connections but have to admit this one is 'hurting my head' would welcome some advice and if possible connection diagram please. |

I kept first 1st post brief to suggest a car battery would be fine, but I to use a car battery which I keep in the boot i find this I don't have to 'pop' the bonnet, stretch the leads so far and I also use it to run my steam raising fan. |

Hi knowing many forum members dabble in electronics so I know its maybe a long shot does anyone know where I can obtain a 3V Lilliput bulb ? I have obtained some 6v 50 mA ones but they need to be 3V . I need them for a old mini handheld torch with flex extiontion that uses 2x 1'5v AAA batteriess.
