883 forum posts 11 photos | Hi Frank Just tried and printed no problem. I was a bit surprsed at seeing the pages numbers diplayed in the printer dialogue box as "0" but hitting the "OK" button in the dialogue box resulted in a printed page without any problem. I'm using Widows 7 starter, running on a Toshiba net book, and Firefox as the browser. You might need to check your local settings. Keith |

63 forum posts | Hi Frank, What on earth did you do with your last msg ?? ((Posting deleted by Diane)) I print from the page viewer though I will say that sometimes a page will take a while to upload and no printing will happen till this is complete. I think it was the previous issue of MEW the "programing person" did not position the "downloading" box very well and it was almost impossible to find (top left corner of the page). Yes, as "Steambuff" says, you print from the page viewer NOT from your browser or operating system. Regards Brian in OZ

1 forum posts | I have problems with printing pages from back issues of Model Engineer's Workshop. Although the "Print Preview" shows the correct pages I want to print, my printer turns out a completely black page. Utterly frustrating and expensive on ink. I guess I'm not using the correct procedure. Which one is? I'm using Windows 7 and my printer works fine for other jobs. Henri

![]() 3357 forum posts 112 photos 10 articles | Hi There In recent versions of Windows you can electronically turn the screen 90 degrees. I have my monitor mounted on an extending arm so I can rotate it. This is ideal for checking full page proofs. This is sufficient on most modern monitors to display a full magazine page. Then press print screen. Paste this into a paint program as a new image and then you can print it out. regards David

20 forum posts | The "Print" item on the left-click menu doesn't work for me either - I just get a completely black page. However, if you magnify the page you will get a "Print this page" tab appearing at the top. That works OK. Brian.

20 forum posts | Well, almost OK. Although the colour images come out in colour and the black text comes out black, the black diagrams come out in a rather faint green - thus rendering them useless! Brian. |

Check your antivirus. It could be blocking scripts on that site. Russell. |

Then press print screen. Paste this into a paint program as a new image and then you can print it out. But the resolution would be terrible - on a modern monitor - maybe 96 dpi. Even a picture image is rubbish below ~150 dpi for printing (and pushing it at that). For text, I wouldn't bother. |
