I have broken a couple of teeth off two of the nylon gears that drive my clarke milling machine. I have had them on order for some eight weeks now to no avail.
So I was chatting to a fellow at the 3D printing stall at the show and he said that there was a company in the surrey area that would almost certainly have them in stock.
He and another bystander said they were called HBC.
No amount of searching the internet has been fruitful. Can anyone give me a steer please.

HPC Gears 01246 260003 Foxwood Industrial Park, Chesterfield S41 9RN. They used to stock gears to fit early Myford lathes which had the early type gear box and which weren't available from Myford.Ted

Chris, what so magic about the HBC company you have not found? I dont know what you need but HPC gears in Chesterfield are certain to have them (might need to machine the bore though)

I have no connection with HPC but have always been impressed with their service.

If we knew which gears you actually required someone here might be able to give a better answer.

Ian

Thanks John
Not sure Ian, I just hate mysteries I guess.
I probably need to move on and give up trying to find the one in Surrey.
