how long to wait?

Hi,
I subscribed to ME in early august, its now almost the end of september but still nothing in my letterbox. Can anyone suggest how long ME takes to arrive in Australia, and how long to the first issue? I cant even check the online 'back' issues because my subscriber number doesnt arrive until the first copy does.

Hello,
Another Aussie here. I just subscribed to ME Workshop on-line. I received an email confirming my subscription but the email stated I would receive my subscription number by mail. It would be much nicer if I could receive my subscription number by email so I could immediately start benefiting from the web services.  Would this be possible?
On another point, when I subscribed to MEW (two days ago) I also tried to subscribe to ME but got a message saying that that page "could not be found."  I'll try again today.

Hi Russell & JV.  "Another Aussie" Ive been a subscriber since Jan. 09. and after sveral attempts I still cannot get into 'subscriber only' parts of the web page. About to try again.

well, my subs did eventually arrive, apparently my address was 'slightly wrong' when entered into 'the system'; however, i had no problem getting onto the subscribers-only part of the web site. if i recall, you need to drop the first couple of digits from the subscriber number - leaving an 8 digit number.

where abouts in Oz are you Fred? and James?

Hi Russell, I am getting a bit frustrated with my UK internetting, so in my last post I left out the good bits, I subscribe to the MEW. which is a Top magazine. The delivery to my address has been good and getting better in January till about May i was getting delivery about the 25th of the month then May onward about the 14th and this month Nov. it has arrived on the 4th, thats pretty good I reckon. Regard to the " subs only pages" I have been in contact with the subs. dept. several times through e.mails and have done every thing they have  said and still no luck. I have the same sort of problem with one of the engineering suppliers that advertise in the MEW. I cannot login to their order dept. but the rest of the web site is OK. Several e-mails have  past between us but no luck with that as well. There is other suppliers I have dealt with no trouble at all.

I'm from Ipswich, west of Brisbane. I've purchased both ME and  MEW off the news stands for years. Finally got tired of missing issues.

Hi Russel,
  Australia must be closer to the UK  then New York, USA. I am still waiting for my Model Engineer # 4363 and what ever should come there after.
  The same goes for Engineering Workshop
