122 forum posts 2 photos | I need to make some M6 x 0.75 LH metric screws. Easy with the correct die, As these dies are like hens teeth. I looked to my imperial Colchester Bantam to cut the threads. As the lathe is new to me I'm not sure as to the change wheels and gear box lever positions to select to cut this metric thread. I have a full set of change wheels. Could somebody give me some advice on the correct lathe set up please. |

122 forum posts 2 photos | I purchased a die from China, not sure what quality it will be. This afternoon I set up the Colchester and cut a good M6 x 0.75 LH thread. So the die may be good to clean up the single point cut thread. |
