G’day, does anyone have copies of ETW’s articles of the 1831 loco? I have not found any information or seen photos of a completed example!

Hi Ray, Rod beat me to it, but it was in ME from volume 84 to 89 in 65 parts with this nice blue print.

Many thanks Paul, apologies for my tardiness in replying. I would be grateful for any scans of of the build articles for the 1831, I have drawings now but not any of the articles!

I have not had any luck on obtaining copies of the articles so far so if anyone has copies and is able to make a copy (hard or electronic) I would be extremely grateful, I can cover any reasonable cost incurred

I believe the articles are in the following:

1941 volume 84 issue 2083

1942 volume 86 issue 2146

thanks in advance

Ray

Hi Ray Hastings, there are over 200 pages of build notes with this project in ME, and many of them have black and white photos, which take a bit longer to do to get a decent print for the detail, so unless someone has already scanned them all, you may have to wait a while before anyone has the time to do them.

Regards Nick.

I have some of the articles (mostly the first year) - electronic and photos more for reading than use - send me a PM but there are too many to send by email.
