Hi, I have an old warco milling machine with the belt drive. Can anyone please give me the speeds of the mill in each belt position. Thanks

Then there's the Minor and the Economy and didn't they do one or two with only two pullies.

My crystal balls batteries have gone flat.

..innit..smiley..

TBH, you'd be better to get a cheapy chinese tachometer of the internet and do a quick rating in any case, I doubt the spec's have remained static over time, and as Dave points out, it might be one of several different models.

Yes, my ZX-15 has two four step pulleys. Now much better with inverter drive.

On my 2017 VMC, this is the speed sticker on the belt guard:

This is the pulley arrangement:

This is the speed table I constructed having measured each speed with a tacho:

The Warco Economy has four sheaves on motor, Intermediate and Quill pulleys

These are supposed to give speeds, on 50Hz Single Phase mains of:

90,170, 200, 250, 280, 360, 600,700, 950, 1290, 1590, 2150 rpm

As the highest speed is correct it might be you are suffering from belt slip at the other combinations.

My Economy shredded the primary belt within 6 months of occasional use.

Realigning the motor with the intermediate pulley (Straight edge over the two pulleys ) has meant that the new A30 belt, like the original, secondary, has survived over 20 years of use.
