Hello Karl and welcome, I'm probably not far from you near Mansfield. Like you, I'm interested in old tools, the problem is that I sometimes buy them with no intention of actually using them!

If you have any questions just ask them on here and someone will probably have the answers.

Brian

Hi Karl,

Welcome.

’Lincs area’ could be huge. I’m in Lincs and over 40 miles from Lincoln. All my main machinery is old.

Welcome aboard Ship mate, I'm across the Wash, near Hunstanton. I can see the Stump on a clear day. If you have a question someone on here will be able to help you. Noel

Welcome!

Many a good tune played on an old fiddle.

It's the way that you tell 'em that counts.

Often, twirling a handle is less prone to mistakes that using a keyboard; and more satisfying..

When something like normality returns, find a local Model Engineering Society and join, for the company and face to face help. One of our late Peterborough members came from Boston, several others live in the Lincolnshire Fens, so you are not alone by any means.

LOTS of that on here, if you feel the need, on almost ANY subject.

Howard.
