13 forum posts | Hi All, I have a set of drawings for Ian Bradley's Twist Drill Grinding Jig that I purchased from Nexus Plans service some years ago. I have now (finally) decided to make the item and am having a few difficulties interpreting the drawings. The odd missing dimension is one issue but the main problem is trying to see how the various components fit together, in particular how to ensure correct positioning of the keyways in the table and the drill slide. So: does anyone have copies of the original articles from Model Engineer that they would be happy to pass on (in PDF, Jpeg, photocopies or what have you). It seems the original series was titled "Making a Twist Drill Grinding Jig by Duplex" and ran in Model Engineer in 1951 issues:2632, 2634, 2636, 2638, and 2640. Here's Hoping, Joe Harland, Melbourne, Australia |

13 forum posts | Many Thanks: Paul: the link was not quite what I'm looking for but did have lots of interesting content and links - Thanks Paul. ega has the originals and will email them through in due course - fantastic thanks ega. Trojan sent a link to dropbox where there was another copy of the originals so thanks Trojan. My drawings are in 1:1 scale on a single A0 sheet; it may be a while (have to paint the house first on pain of death) but when I am finished I will endeavor to pass them on to a good home. Happy Easter, Joe Harland |

Seventy years since that article came out But only 26 years since Mr Bradley's demise. However, it was good of you to go to the trouble and I'm sure no one will mind Stay well, Rod |
