2 forum posts | What should be the optimal end float for the lead screw please? I have recently bought this lathe with end float measuring 2.7mm/0.106 inches. If this gap requires adjustment any help would be appreciated. |

81 forum posts 41 photos | Hello 2.7mm end float is far far too much. It should be approaching zero mm and ‘free to rotate’, not clamping the lead screw. Best regards. Alan |
