Hello I am a musical instrument maker (woodwind) in Surrey who uses both a Boxford 330 and another lathe that I may describe in a future posting.

This involves not jus=t making the instrument itself but also the tools such as reamer, drills and various work holding devices, jigs etc.

Hello Christopher and welcome. Not one myself but there are a few musical instrument makers on here who will, hopefully, be along soon.

The other lathe sounds interesting; can you give it a name so that we know what to look forward to?
