If you can still get hold of the book

"The Engineering and History of Rocket" by Michael R Bailey and John P Glithero (published by National Railway Museum)

it will tell you A LOT.

Rainhill would be close and you could use that as the mechanical part and tart it up to look more like a Rocket. GLR do the castings etc.

Or as it does not have to work you can still pick up the Airfix kits on e-bay

Sarik Hobbies, who have a flashing advert' just over there in the far right column-->>

can supply a General Arrangement of 'Rocket' & tender as at Rainhill trials.

Phil

An idea of size and purpose would help.

Is it big or small? Will it be pushed around by children or sit on a shelf? Must it be an accurate model (and if so, of what stage in this ever-changing machine's history?) or just a reasonable representation?

Neil
