Beautiful QCTP

An advertiser in MEW is offering an "Adonis Q/C toolpost"; users do find their QCTPs very attractive but perhaps this goes too far.

Have others had their ads mangled in similar ways and did they still manage to sell?

Probably another unhelpful spell checker, they seem to have a very limited vocabulary.

This sort of thing always brings a wry smile to my face, the spell checker is a helpful tool but actually reading what you have written is the final test.

- sometimes even that fails as your eyes tend to 'see' what you want it to read not to actually read what is written, so sometimes it pays to read it out aloud. Don't know why this works, as in theory both should turn out the same, but it does for me!

For me, the errors often don't appear until I have the printed copy in my hand.

I had overlooked the likelihood of the spell checker being involved - surpassed only in destructive potential by predictive text!

My error detection kicks in just as the message goes into the "Sent" folder, or appears as post on this Forum!
