TV time will be correct as the way digital TV is transmitted every frame and audio signal is time stamped to keep them in sync, all linked back to GPS time receivers. Your modem also gets an accurate time stamp for it's internal use but doesn't necessarily pass it on to your PC, however if you look at the modem's control panel (GUI, graphical user interface) it will show an accurate time, normally GMT. Causes a bit of fun at clock change times because it has to adjust the parental controls that are stopping little Johnny play games after midnight. |

I might have asked before but is there any possibility of configuring the site to show user local times rather than specifically UK times only? Probably not, I'm afraid. Neil |

1719 forum posts 1 photos | Thanks Neil. Thought I'd ask ... and at least you addressed the question (It certainly didn't take long for people to hijack the thread and take this simple question totally off-topic). Edited By Bandersnatch on 12/09/2018 17:31:21 |

7227 forum posts 21 photos | Just to send this even further off topic, Can anyone please explain why the audio attached to the video of "The Last Night of the Proms" is not in sync with the Radio soundtrack? Trying to watch, whilst listening on a Hi Fi set up was, to say the least, so confusing that I reverted to the poorer TV audio. Is it that one has to be delayed by a second or so, so that it is no longer a "Live" broadcast; or is it that processing the video data takes longer than the straight audio of the radio broadcast?
