Hi,

After putting in a fair bit of time I have got pretty good with fusion 360 and actually enjoy using it now. So I was very dissapointed to get an email telling me that my trial period was coming to an end (doesn't seem like 12 months already).

So is there an alternative that is as good/easy to use as fusion 360 and either free or cheap (no more than £200 one off payment)?.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Ian

Ian: You should be able to re-register for free again.

I thought that they stated that non-commercial use would remain free - have they gone back on this or just carefully haven't mentioned it in the renewal notice - there are however previous examples of initially free software becoming licence only once the users have been hooked.

I don't recall anything about it being a one off sort of thing when i signed up for start up this is free for (i think ) 1 year but you can re sign at the end of that period for another year and so on .

Yes, I can confirm that you can renew your entitlement as an enthusiast, student, etc. I did it a couple of weeks ago.
