About ten years ago I made a simple steam plant as a Christmas gift for a grandson following an article in ME. Now I would like to build one for another grandson but can't find the article.

It was a similar design to the Mamod engines having a horizontal spirit fired boiler and a horizontal oscillating engine. Does anyone remember the article and the issue it was in?

Going to **LINK** and searching "steam plant" would point to about 1993.

1993 170 3947 710 S.Atkinson Model Engineering for Beginners. A basic steam plant "Describes a simple oscillating steam engine and boiler. Boiler barrel, end caps, holes for boiler fittings, silver soldering"

Cheers.
