5 forum posts | hi to everyone and happy new year. I am what you would call a hobby machinist and potter around making and fixing things, mostly for myself. I have a Harrison 155 lathe and a boxford Shaper which I love to use, it soothes away the worries with its calming no rush milling action. Looking forward to learning and hopefully contributing something useful.

5 forum posts | Thanks for the welcome to everyone. In answer to David I’m in the UK, mid west Wales. I try to make my own stuff as and when needed, special one offs to aid in completing a job of mine or other bits and pieces for friends etc, mainly for old bikes at the moment as well as bits so I can cut key ways on the Shaper etc. I have an old TVR Cerbera which also keeps me and my machines busy lol. Just love machining and the satisfaction of the finished product as much as my spare time allows. Certainly no expert but learning, improving and enjoying
