Dear All,

Me again I have got to the bottom of my issues re back gear etc but today I put it all back together only to find now when I try to start it it pops my fuses. Everything turns by hand but with power them Pop.

So what have i done to cause this issue.

The only thing I have done that could be an issue is a small oil leak from the gear box which dripped onto the motor this was quickly cleaned up.

Any suggestions would be appreciated before I head back to the workshop to strip it all back down.

Regards Ian

what 'pops' ? the current trip or the earth leakage ?
If you rely on fuses and they blow then possibly you have a miswired motor or even an oil induced leakage across the power lines (tho here I would expect to see smoke) - if earth leakage then possibly your oil leak has caused some leakage path
