7 forum posts 3 photos	Hi, I'm from N.Ireland. Been lurking a while and now signed up. My background is some machine shop and fitting experience when I was younger and then I've been teaching D&T to 11-18 year olds for 20 odd years. My particular interest is machining metals but I probably work more with wood and plastics day to day. Also Solidworks, 3D printing, etc. Not really into model trains but interested in engines in particular although I've only ever built an oscillating engine running on air. I have my own Myford Super 7 at home and use a Harrison M250 at work. Would fancy building a model IC engine at some point in the future. Other interests are beekeeping and motorcycles.
