What company is this?

Hi all, >>

I bought a box set of adjustable reamers and it’s a bit of a mixed bag of manufactures. This is probably a stupid question but does anyone know this company?

I had a quick search on the web and nothing comes up.

I thought maybe the SS means something to do with the steel, rather than the maker maybe?

Hi, thanks for the reply

I googled ss myself and found little. I was hoping that the company logo might jog a few brain cells as the company my have gone bust.

The SS is a bit of a red herring I think - not sure what it stands for. The company is August Beck GmbH. Been making reamers for ever. I've not seen the logo for a long time. I think they are better known as Beck Tools now - somewhere in Southern Germany.

Hope this helps

Thanks Alastair for Identifying and Michael for the link, I was beginning to think they were Indian, SS tools, but you have restored my confidence.
