So i went into town today (herts) and thought on my way back i'll make my usual stop at WH smiths and get the good ol' MEW that's been recently released. Saw that it was a "back to back" issue of 2 magazines this month, in for a treat.thumbs up

Then i noticed it was the same ME magazine i bought a while back. I feel a bit like that yorkshireman from the fast show "knowing my luck", "oh bugger".dont know

Ah well, maybe i can cut and paste some of the articles from the duplicate! £3.60 i needn't have spent.

What issue number is the "back to back"? bought MEW today (240) no freebie? And it's more than £3.60?

.

Caveat Vendor ? ... Beware [of] the Seller

... O.K. my Latin is probably suspect

.

MEW = £4.50

ME = £3.60

What [if anything] is being given away with what question

.

Edit: I think Michael W was refering to his needless prior expenditure on ME

I think the offer is only in WH Smiths, certainly didn't happen in my local independent newsagent when I picked up my ordered copy sad

Yep, thats on the head of the nail.

I'm sorry if i caused confusion or offence but i am innocently oblivious to the knowledge some shops didn't offer this.

Basically i got 2 for 1 MEW but the extra ME was one i bought earlier in the month. Oh well.

If it were only available across the pond, the price here is figured by stacking dollar bills and flattening them till the equivalent thickness is the same as the magazine. Well, sort of close.smile o

Well, looks like you sussed their game, it's likely they have been printing on a thicker gauge of paper in america for that very reason. wink
