I've recently bought this off ebay for less than a tenner. A bargain I thought til I came to register it.

When I press the "Online Activation Request Form" button, nothing happens ?

The program still works ok but the clock is now down to about 23 days.

Seems like I bought a 30 day free trial for a tenner.

Has anyone else found this and is there a solution ?

I'm running Windows 10.

Thanks John

You could try running it in compatibility mode, Vista or W7 for example, in case it's not Windows 10 compliant?

I have bought Turbo Cad 20 for £9.99 from Maplins. I did load it and start to register then health issues stopped play for a while, I was not aware of any time scale to complete registration. What I do need is a basic tutorial on how to use it I can't draw anything on it as yet.

I'm learning from it.

Buy a kosher copy off Paul the CAD (see his ad at right), and benefit from his advice to get you running and his excellent online tutorials. TurboCAD takes bit of learning but is very good IMHO.

I suppose my version3 is a bit dated now... and stopped printing a few years ago..

I once faxed my architect a set of drawing changes and forgot to scale the output...got sent real world size...and emptied a ream of paper from his fax machine

Hi John,

If you look at the ebay page for the product and scroll to the bottom, the seller offers support within 7 days for any issues.

If you contact them and they don't sort your issue I'd suggest contacting Ebay customer support. Ebay offer "buyer protection" and may possibly be able to get your tenner back. I'd contact Ebay anyway just to let them know what's happening, but that's just me.

Good luck,
Ed.

I bought my copy from Paul the CAD, but the activation code he gave me didn't work. When I phoned him he referred me to Avanquest who gave me a new code over the phone, Might be worth a try. Good luck.

John one of the things they suggested I try was to open turbocad in 'administrator' mode and try to reactivate it didn't work for me but whilst your waiting worth a try and if it doesn't work tell them in your email you have tried it, it could save you a dad or two smiley

A quick update. Thanks to all those who offered help.

Tried a few phone numbers, one supplied by Windy was interesting,a woman answered but her english was bad and a bad line. She got fed up and gave me a uk number to ring.

A nice man answered and convinced me I had definitely got a demo copy but not to worry,he could sort it for £40. (yeah right)

Hundreds of these copies have been sold on ebay and from high street dealers and as usual its just me who cant get it to work?

Got back to the seller who was very helpful. after a few communications sent me this link http://www.turbocad.co.uk/support

then **LINK**

Easy Peasy, There is the simple form to fill in and back comes your access code.

So if you want a good cad programme for less than a tenner,go for it.

All the help to get you going is on youtube.
