Just a quick photo of my miniature tooling made over a period of a few months when nothing else was on the slip way.

I took these to Harrogate and won a bronze for them, not bad for my first entry, must have a go at improving.

Very nice! Pics like this make it obvious that I need more practice though. Perhaps a lot more...

Congratulations on the bronze,

Dave

Excuse my ignorance , but what sort of size are these tools?

Yes the scale is 1/4 actual size so the surface gauge column is 4 inches high. The planer gauge is just over an inch high. Mick

When were they at Harrogate, if I had spotted them I would have put a pic in MEW.

They look fantastic but I fear you will not get the best reaction without something to give a sense of scale. Might I suggest the same photo with a fifty pence piece smiley

Well done for the bronze from me too.yes

Regards.

David.

Anvil , hammers, and a pair of FootprintsNo David, coins are no good, this is an international site, I use either a 6" steel rule, or a 0-1" micrometer in most of my photos. Although in this one I used a match box. Ian S C

Matchboxes not to useful either!

Here in the UK match boxes vary from about 1 1/4" long to over 4"... (we do like setting fire to things).

Perhas a good dimensional reference would be the AA Pen-Cell

These are available internationally, and the size & shape are standard.
